Annual Competition
The Falkland Shears Annual Shearing and Wool Handling Competition returns in 2025 and will be held alongside the inaugural Falkland Islands Tri-Nations Test Match on Friday 14th November 2025, making this year a landmark moment for the shearing and wool handling community. With the support of Falkland Shears’ principal sponsor, Dedicare, the event continues its long tradition of showcasing the skill, speed and dedication of the shearers and wool handlers from across the Falkland Islands and beyond.
Entries closed on Monday 20th October 2025, please email falklandshears@gmail.com if you would like to add your name to the waitlist. Registration and payment will be confirmed on arrival.

On Friday 14th November 2025, the Falkland Islands Tri-Nations Test Match will take place alongside the Falkland Shears Annual Shearing and Wool Handling Competition.
All-day spectator tickets will be available on the door at £10 per person. Under 5yrs free entry, over 5yrs -15yrs £5 per person. The ticket entitles each spectator to attend and enjoy the following items included in the ticket price:
